"Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Moments & Miles Rentals LLC, its members, managers, Jonnathan and Kaye Dixon, employees, agents, and assigns.
"Renter" or "you" refers to the primary individual who completes the booking and is responsible for the vehicle and all charges.
"Additional Driver" refers to any person other than the Renter authorized in writing on the Rental Agreement to operate the vehicle.
"Vehicle" means the automobile, SUV, or truck provided under the Rental Agreement.
"Rental Period" means the time from vehicle pickup to the scheduled or actual return, whichever is later.
"Booking" means a completed reservation including uploaded documents, signed Rental Agreement, and full payment via Stripe.
All drivers must be at least 21 years of age at the time of pickup. No surcharges apply based on age for any vehicle in the Moments & Miles fleet.
All drivers must hold a valid, unexpired, government-issued driver's license held for at least one (1) year prior to the rental date. International renters must present a valid foreign license and, where required, an International Driving Permit.
All renters must carry active personal automobile insurance providing full coverage (comprehensive and collision) that remains valid throughout the entire rental period. Moments & Miles Rentals LLC does not carry commercial fleet insurance. The Renter's personal policy is the sole primary coverage for any loss, damage, or liability during the rental. The Renter is solely responsible for any deductibles, gaps, or exclusions.
Renters under 21 or without qualifying private automobile insurance are not eligible to book through momentsandmilesrentals.com. The full Moments & Miles fleet is available to these renters on Turo, which provides additional coverage options. Vehicle quality, cleanliness, and service standards are identical across both booking platforms.
All reservations are made through momentsandmilesrentals.com in the following required order:
Payment alone does not constitute a confirmed booking. Confirmation is issued only after successful document verification.
Submission of false, altered, or fraudulent documents constitutes a material breach and may result in full forfeiture of all payments and legal action.
Following payment, Moments & Miles Rentals LLC manually verifies the Renter's insurance by contacting the provider directly. The Renter authorizes the Company to contact their insurance provider for this purpose. Booking confirmation is sent once verification is complete, targeted within one (1) business day of payment.
Vehicles may be used for lawful personal transportation anywhere within the 48 contiguous United States. Travel to Moab, Utah and all neighboring states is expressly permitted and encouraged.
Each vehicle includes 300 miles per 24-hour rental period. Excess miles are charged at $0.19 per mile, billed to the payment method on file at return.
Vehicles are provided with a full tank. The Renter must return at the same fuel level. Failure results in a fuel service charge plus a per-gallon refueling fee, which may exceed current market pump prices.
A refundable $100.00 security deposit is collected at booking and released within five (5) to seven (7) business days after a clean return, subject to inspection.
A mandatory $250.00 fee will be charged if any evidence of smoking, vaping, or tobacco/marijuana use is found upon return — including odor, ash, residue, or burns. This fee is charged in addition to, not from, the security deposit.
Rentals of 3–6 days receive a 5% discount. Rentals of 7 or more days receive a 10% discount. Maximum rental duration is 21 days.
Free delivery is available to GJT Airport, Amtrak Station, and Shell Fruita. Custom delivery within 25 miles of Grand Junction is available for a $20.00 fee.
A good-faith courtesy window of up to 20 minutes past the scheduled return time is provided. Returns beyond 20 minutes late up to one hour will receive a $25 fee. After one hour, charges accrue at the daily rate per additional day or partial day.
Renter must request an extension at least 12 hours before the contractual reservation end time. If the Renter fails to return the vehicle by the end of the confirmed reservation time without a confirmed extension, vehicle theft will be reported to local authorities.

If the Company must cancel due to mechanical failure or circumstances beyond its control, the Renter receives a full refund of all charges including the security deposit.
The Renter is fully financially responsible for all damage, loss, or theft during the rental period, regardless of fault. Moments & Miles Rentals LLC does not carry commercial fleet insurance. Liability includes repair costs, diminished value, loss of rental income during repair at the daily rate, towing, storage, and any amounts not covered by the Renter's personal insurance.
In the event of an accident, the Renter must: (1) ensure safety and call 911 if needed; (2) obtain a police report; (3) exchange information with all parties; (4) photograph all damage and the scene; (5) NOT admit fault or offer direct payment; (6) notify the Company within 24 hours at (970) 234-3768; and (7) submit an Incident Report within 48 hours.
Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location by the scheduled date and time in the same condition as received. After-hours returns are permitted but the Renter remains fully responsible for the vehicle until a return inspection is completed.

By completing a booking, the Renter consents to the Company collecting and using personal data — including name, license and insurance information, payment data, and uploaded document images — for rental operations, document verification, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Documents are stored securely, not shared with third parties for marketing, and retained for up to three (3) years for legal compliance.
To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, the Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Moments & Miles Rentals LLC, its members, managers, Jonnathan and Kaye Dixon, employees, and agents from all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses — including attorneys' fees — arising from the Renter's use of the vehicle, breach of this Agreement, or violation of applicable law. The Company's total liability shall not exceed the total rental charges paid. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Before formal legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution for 30 days following written notice. Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in Mesa County, Colorado. The Renter waives the right to participate in any class action — all disputes must be brought individually.
